Eric Trump is the son of President Donald Trump. He has fiercely defended his father and has advocated continuing "draining the swamp" in Washington. He is extremely active on social media and has recently posted a tweet suggesting some interesting things about famous people.
"Shocking... once again, here are the @Twitter 'suggestions' of who I should follow. #DeepState," tweeted Trump, referencing Obama, Clinton, and DeGeneres.
"The 'deep state' conspiracy theory, which has been repeatedly pushed by the president, revolves around the idea that a deep-rooted civil service is working to delegitimize his administration. It’s unclear whether Eric Trump was claiming that Clinton, Obama, and DeGeneres were part of the 'deep state,' but his post prompted widespread ridicule," according to reports.
However, one user was quick to point out some interesting facts about Twitter suggestions. The suggestions are allegedly chosen based on previous searches or by people close to others you have followed or searched for.
"Hey @EricTrump, Twitter probably suggests Ellen from when you tweeted at her trying to out-do her 3.5 million retweeted selfie and got 27 retweets," wrote one user.
