The news was just confirmed that Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone suffered a fall, resulting in an injury. Thankfully, ET Online has reported that the beloved actress will make a full recovery!
According to reports, 30-year-old Stone "hurt her shoulder after slipping on a floor at a home." No other details were given regarding where exactly the actress was at at the time of the incident.
Following the fall, Emma Stone has been required to wear a shoulder sling. However, a source has confirmed that it will not negatively affect her next acting gig. She is currently in pre-production for her role as the infamous Cruella de Vil from "101 Dalmatians" in a new spinoff film, "Cruella."
The source revealed, "Production has not been halted as it has not started on her next project. They are still in pre-production and she'll begin once healed."
Originally, fans were concerned that Stone's injury would postpone the filming. The rumors began when The Sun reported that the film was "in crisis" due to the injury, without revealing the extent of the injury first.
They said, "Emma relocated to the UK for the summer to throw her all into this movie- it was a great opportunity to be a classic villain...She thought [her shoulder] was just bruised initially, but has not discovered it's actually broken."
However, the actress quickly denied that the film was in jeopardy in any way.
Fans are now ecstatic that the rumors were put to rest about the postponement of the "Cruella" film.
