Emma Stone, Dave McCary React to Boos at Mets-Padres Game: Pic

Unbothered! Emma StoneThe husband Dave McCary wanted to enjoy their date night at the Mets-Padres game — but fans had a different plan. 

The LaLa LandStar, 33, was spotted with McCary, 37 at Citi Field in New York City for game 1 of the Wild Card Series between the San Diego Padres and New York Mets on Friday, October 6.

The comedian wore a Padres cap and matched classic Padres bomber jackets to their appearance. The couple looked adorable! Mets fans, however, didn’t take too kindly to the couple’s wardrobe choice and booed Stone and McCary when they appeared on the Jumbotron.

The twosome — who had the last laugh when the Padres beat the Mets 7-1 — took the criticism in jest, showing off the San Diego labels like badges of honor and raising their glasses for a toast before giving the camera a shrug and a smile.

After the game, Padres CEO Erik GreupnerTo make sure that the outcome was achieved, we used social media. Simple AActress and California native, they knew that they were always welcomed on the west coast.

“Style, grace and good taste…Emma is always welcome @PetcoPark,” the businessman tweeted. “Big fans of these fans. Hi Dave and Emma!” the official San Diego Padres account added alongside photos of the lovebirds at the game.

After the Oscar winner hosted, Stone met McCary for the first time. Saturday Night Live for the third time in 2016 — while the writer was working behind the scenes of the sketch comedy as a segment producer.

The couple initially sparked romance speculation following the Good Neighbor alum directed the Maniac actress in a digital short titled “Wells for Boys,” but the two didn’t confirm they were dating until October 2017. Stone and her boyfriend were engaged by December 2017. Us WeeklyConfirmed the CruellaStar became pregnant one month later.

The twosome tied the knot in 2020.

She has so much support from many people in her life, including her husband. She feels truly blessed. Those close to her feel like she’s going to be a great mom.”

McCary and Stone have been known to keep their relationship low-key. However, McCary is often seen cheering on their favorite team’s baseball team. The couple photographed together last year at the Dodgers-Padres match with TV analyst Mark Grant, and announcer Don Orsillo.
