On Wednesday, the devastating news was reported that a country music legend, Earl Thomas Conley, passed away. Conley died at the age of 77.
Throughout his impressive career, Conley recorded ten studio albums. As was previously reported, one of his most notable career moments was when he co-wrote Blake Shelton's "All Over Me." Throughout his career, he had 18 number one hits and helped several famous artists with their own work.
Rob Battle, Conley's agent, confirmed the country artist's death.
He said, "Sadly, he passed away this morning. An unbelievable artist, songwriter, and talent."

Blake Shelton wrote, "My heart is absolutely destroyed today...I'm sad to report that Earl Thomas Conley passed away very early this morning. Earl was my all time favorite singer, hero and my friend. Prayers to his family. We will all miss you deeply my brother. Now go rest..."
