Duchess Meghan Markle stepped out in pants for the afternoon of her second day of the newlyweds' Ireland visit. That's a departure from her usual skirts and tops or dresses.
Meghan hasn't worn pants to a public event in many months. She sticks dresses—which while it isn't apart of the official protocol, it is more the royal style.
Since her wedding, Meghan's style has been all things Givenchy and bateau necklines. In her fifth outfit of the week, the Duchess of Sussex switched into a black pantsuit.
But that doesn't mean that she's leaving Givenchy in the dust. The pantsuit is designed by Givenchy. She paired the suit with a white t-shirt, black belt, black clutch, and stilettos.
According to Refinery 29, the last time Meghan was seen in a suit was in February. She attended the Endeavour Fund Awards, which honors wounded service men and women in London, sporting a suit instead of a gown.
Then her choice was called "breaking royal protocol," but there hasn't been such an uproar since. But don't count on seeing Queen Elizabeth in a pantsuit anytime soon.
This isn't the first stunning black ensemble in Ireland. She stole the show in a black gown that some people are calling her best look to-date.
