On Saturday, June 9th, the Royal family celebrated the Queen’s 92nd birthday — which actually took place on April 21st — with the annual Trooping the Colour parade. Shortly after the arrival of their newborn son, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton were present at the special event.
The two were accompanied by their eldest children — Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3. Prince Louis, their youngest, was not present for the outing.
This marks one of Kate’s major public appearances since May’s Royal wedding honoring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. At the event on Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge turned heads with her gorgeous outfit.
Kate was seen wearing a half-sleeved baby blue dress with an extravagant matching hat — a famed Royal tradition. Her outfit was accessorized with diamond jewelry.
Kate’s outfit follows traditional Royal dress protocol — dress sleeves passed elbow-length. Kate’s new sister-in-law, Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, did not follow Royal protocol with her outfit choice.
Despite breaking protocol, Duchess Meghan still managed to amaze the public with her beautiful dress! See close-up photos of Meghan’s outfit here.
