Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is still in the midst of facing brutal consequences after dozens of women in the entertainment industry accused him of sexual assault. After the news broke late last year, his wife Georgina Chapman announced that she was leaving him in wake of the disturbing allegations.
Chapman previously stated, “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time.”
Although divorce papers have not officially been filed in court, sources confirmed to PEOPLE that a divorce is in the works. Details regarding the ex-Hollywood couple’s divorce agreement was released on Thursday, January 11th.
According to PEOPLE magazine, Chapman, a highly successful fashion designer, will receive roughly $15-20 million from her soon-to-be ex-husband. She will also receive primary custody of their two children.
Weinstein and Chapman are the parents of one daughter and one son—7-year-old India Pearl Weinstein and 4-year-old Dashiell Weinstein. Weinstein also has three other daughters from his previous marriage—Lilly, Emma, and Ruth.
The former producer also made headlines this week regarding his professional relationship with television star Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey, who is rumored to potentially run in the 2020 election against President Trump, was accused of being directly involved in the Weinstein problem.
