“LAPD investigation entities are aware that there was an incident between two individuals during Academy Awards,” reads a statement from the LAPD. “The incident involved one person slapping the other. The individual involved declined to file a report with the police. LAPD will provide an investigative report to the party involved if they request it at a later date.
