Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis fired again Tuesday at President Joe Biden after the president defended transgender surgical procedures and procedures for kids.
“It isn’t ‘sinful’ to ban the mutilation of minors,” DeSantis stated in a Tuesday morning tweet. “It isn’t acceptable for the federal authorities to mandate that procedures like intercourse change operations be allowed for youths.”
The Florida governor was responding to Biden’s remarks on the Florida medical board banning transgender surgical procedures, hormones, and puberty blockers for kids. Biden urged that the state’s efforts to guard youngsters are “merciless.”
“What’s happening in Florida is, as my mom would say, near sinful. I imply it’s simply horrible what they’re doing,” Biden said.
