Democratic Frontrunner Exposes What Could Happen To Christians If He Becomes President

The Democratic Party is basically built upon two moral pillars, maybe three. The main two are abortion and the LGBTQ agenda (and the third would be open immigration).

Christians are fundamentally opposed to abortion, and the LGBTQ agenda is fundamentally opposed to Christians. How so? Take for example the verse in Genesis that says God made us "male and female." LGBTQ activists say No, I decided what I am. And your 4 year old can decide what he is.

Genesis also says (along with Jesus) that a man would leave his parents to cleave to a wife. LGBTQ activists (and Democrats) say No, a man can cleave to a man and a woman to a woman.

What does this mean for Christians, legally? Well, at this point, thanks to President Trump and Vice President Pence who are protective of religious freedom, not much (though in places like California, there is a growing agenda to educate kids as young as kindergarten about being transgender, homosexual, etc. without parental consent).

But under the 2020 frontrunner for the Democratic Party, former Vice President Joe Biden, there would be big changes for Christians. Biden made it very clear in his recent speech at the Human Rights Campaign's annual gala in Columbus, Ohio.

Referring to the Equality Act, Biden said, "I promise you if I'm elected president it will be the first thing I ask to be done. It will send a message around the world, not just at home."

"This is our soul, da*mit, this is who we have to be... This is our real moral obligation," he said. "Using religion or culture to discriminate against or demonize LGBTQ individuals is never justified. Not anywhere in the world."

"The current vice president uses religious freedom as an excuse to license discrimination across broadly [sic] areas and denying LGBTQ Americans their basic rights. It is wrong and it is immoral what they are doing," Biden continued, accusing Vice President Pence for his Christian values.

"It's wrong and it is immoral what [the Trump administration] is doing," referring to the Trump Administration's stance on barring transgender troops from the U.S. military and protecting medical providers from being forced to violate their consciences.

"Just like with racial justice and women's rights, we are seeing pushback against all the progress we've made toward equality," Biden added.

"You know, you've done as much for straight folks as you've done for gay folks and lesbian folks," said Biden, referring to the LGBTQ activists' success in changing the sexual morality in America. "This is how you've freed so many non-homophobic straight guys," he said.

"In too many places you're still at risk for your jobs," he warned. It's gotta change. It's gotta change because of the values we have to demonstrate to the rest of the world. It's gotta change because it's just morally wrong... your tenacity, your integrity -- you've bent the moral arc in this nation toward justice and thanks to you our children and grandchildren are growing up in a world that is far more just, far more open-minded, far more humane," Biden preached.

What Biden is officially promising is to, at the start of his presidency, allow transgenders into the military (what many refer to as a social experiment at the expense of national security) and force medical practitioners to aid sex transitions, even if they don't agree with the psychological and physical safety of the circumstances.

The Equality Act would also mandate that transgender men could use women's shelters, endangering many women and children. But the logical extension of the law could easily also go into matters of speech and belief.

For example, if you refused to call a man (who now is appearing as a woman) by feminine pronouns, you could hypothetically be charged with a hate crime and fined or issued jail time. For many Christians, this is a problem as it would mandate lying.

Or say you were an employer: if you didn't allow a man who wanted to be considered a woman to use your female employees' restroom and changing areas, you would be sued.

It would also extend into parental rights. Already, liberal state schools want to keep parents in the dark if their child wants to be transgender. Ripple effects of the Equality Act could make it child abuse for a parent to refuse to let their child, under 18, to undergo a sex transition using powerful hormone replacement therapy and potentially even genital mutilation.

One thing is clear: the Equality Act is just a door to a slippery slope of entanglements for Christians that could make us face jail time over our faith.

So far, Biden is in the lead of his party. "The former vice president, promising a reset from Trump (but offering little in the way of policy specifics), has surged to a nearly 20 point advantage," says Rolling Stone of Biden.

What do you think of Biden's promise to address LGBTQ rights first? Share your thoughts in the comments! Thank you so much.
