David Hogg has made a name for himself since the Parkland shooting on February 14, using the platform of anti-gun violence to criticize leaders, media figures and politicians, as well as calling for boycotts of businesses who espouse a philosophy contrarian to his own.

Hogg’s latest diatribe reached all the way up the chain, arriving at the desk of the President of the United States. In a tweet, he mocked President Trump for his warning toward Iran, a country which hates the United States.

In Trump’s tweet, he wrote: "To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!"

Hogg parodied Trump’s tweet with a tweet of his own, aimed at President Trump himself:

"To US President Trump: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!" Hogg wrote on Twitter on Monday.

One Twitter user wrote succinctly in response to David Hogg’s tweet with one much-shorter, posed as a question:
