After his huge boycott of Laura Ingraham’s conservative talk show lost her a number of sponsors but boosted her viewership by 20 percent, young anti-gun activist David Hogg used Twitter to announce the boycott of two more major companies in America.
“@blackrock and @Vanguard_Group are two of the biggest investors in gun manufacturers; if you use them, feel free to let them know. Thanks,” Hogg wrote, later clarifying with a tweet calling for a boycott of both investment companies.
But the 17-year-old Hogg, who was catapulted to fame with multiple appearances on CNN and a keynote speaker spot at a massive anti-gun march in D.C., found very little support for his new boycott amidst a deluge of criticism on Twitter.
