On Sunday evening, a 7-month-old girl named Emma Kennedy went missing from Danville, Virginia. An AMBER ALERT has been issued in several states since her disappearance in hopes of safely bringing the infant child home.

As previously reported, little Emma was allegedly abducted by 51-year-old Carl Ray Kennedy. Their exact relationship is unclear though they do have the same last name; some news sites reported that he is the child’s biological father.

The child is believed to be in “extreme danger.” Prior to the abduction, Carl assaulted Emma’s mother. In addition, Carl was recently released from jail on drug charges, is currently armed with a knife, and is a registered sex offender.

Initially, authorities suspected the two were traveling in a gold, 4-door Suzuki with North Carolina license plate "FAA 1873." However, new reports suggested they may be traveling in a burgundy Camry or blue Jeep Cherokee.

A possible sighting of Carl and Emma was also reported to North Carolina police on Monday, June 4th. If the sighting is accurate, the two were actually riding in a gold, 2007 Suzuki with North Carolina license plate “EKZ 5093.”

Emma is white with blonde hair and blue eyes; she weighs roughly 18 pounds and has a small scar on her left cheek. She was last seen wearing a blue, polka-dotted onesie with a white rabbit on the left leg and a matching hairpiece, but it is more than likely that her outfit has changed.

Carl is white with grey hair and green eyes. He is 5’8,” weighs about 170 pounds, has his left ear pierced, and several tattoos up and down his arms.

If you have any information about Emma’s whereabouts or need to report a sighting, please contact the Danville City Police Department directly at 434-799-5111 or call 911 immediately.

Please continue to pray for this young child’s safe return home. In breaking news, a beloved veteran tv actor sadly passed away recently.
