A 7-month old girl from Danville, Emma Kennedy, has not been seen since Sunday evening, June 3rd. An AMBER ALERT was initially issued in Virginia, but since the abduction has expanded to North Carolina.

According to Missingkids.org, the infant was last seen wearing a blue, polka-dotted onesie with a white rabbit on the left leg and a matching hairpiece. She is white, has blonde hair and blue eyes, and weighs roughly 18 pounds. She also has a small scar on her left cheek.

Little Emma was reportedly abducted by 51-year-old Carl Ray Kennedy. Their relationship is unclear, but they do have the same last name so they are predicted to be related.

Carl is white with grey hair and green eyes. He is 5’8,” weighs about 170 pounds, has his left ear pierced, and several tattoos up and down his arms.

A statement issued by the Virginia State Police revealed that the child is believed to be in “extreme danger.” The two may be traveling in a gold, 4-door Suzuki with North Carolina license plate "FAA 1873."

A local news source reported that Carl assaulted the child's mother before the abduction. The suspect, a registered sex offender, was recently released from jail on drug charges and is currently armed with a knife, according to authorities.

If you have any information about Emma’s whereabouts or need to report a sighting, please contact the Danville City Police Department directly at 434-799-5111 or call 911 immediately.

Please pray for this child’s safe return home! May God bring their family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
