DANGER WARNING: Major Car Companies Just Expanded Recall To Over 1 Million Cars!

April 07, 2017Apr 07, 2017

Hyundai has issued additional car models under their recent recall, but for a different reason: possible engine failure. Kia has also recalled some of their SUVs for the same problem. The flawed engines may overheat and stall.

Here are the Hyundai cars affected by the recall in the U.S. and Canada:

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SUV
2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SUV
2011-2014 Sonata Midsize Cars
2011-2015 Sonata Hybrid Models

Please note, the above list has been expanded from the original recall of Sonata models only, where an injury was already reported. The first recall was issued due to a seat belt glitch.

According to K5, Hyundai has recalled other car models in the past for the exact same engine issue.

Here are the Kia cars affected by the recall in the U.S. and Canada:

2011-2014 Kia Optima Midsize Cars
2011-2013 Kia Sportage SUVs
2012-2014 Kia Sorento SUVs

If you or someone you know owns any of the above car models, please contact your dealership immediately.
