Cuba Gooding Jr., an actor, pleaded guilty in 2018 to one count forcibly touching a woman on a New York City rooftop bar.
Three years after he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, he plead guilty.
In exchange for his guilty plea, he will not serve any jail time and must attend six months of counseling.
Gooding said, “I am sorry for ever making anyone feel inappropriately touched,” according to the courtroom. Times.
Manhattan court charged the actor with groping three women. One woman claims that he grabbed her breast at Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in June. Another woman, a waitress claimed that he kissed her at LAVO in September 2018 without her consent and “pinched her buttocks at Tao nightclub, October 2018” without her consent.
Manhattan prosecutors disclosed that 12 more women had approached them with allegations against Gooding. They included unwelcome licking, kissing and biting dating back as far as 2001.
