Country Music Legend Sends Scathing Message to the Media

Especially since the rise of Donald Trump, conservatives have often been pitted against the mainstream media. Conservatives have often seen the media as overtly liberal, and often dishonest, whereas the media has seen conservatives as "deplorable" and unintelligent. On Wednesday the reality of this war between conservatives and the mainstream media was on full display.

“I’ll just come out and say it, I know bovine scatology, I raise bulls," tweeted one country music star on Wednesday to his 400,000 followers. "One CNN broadcast contains more than we dig out of our barn in a year."

Country music legend Charlie Daniels didn't hold back on Wednesday when criticizing the mainstream media. This scathing remark came after another similar one about the low-ratings of the mainstream media.

“I wonder if the msm are broadcasting to each other because very few other people really seem to care,” the 80-year-old country singer tweeted.

The country music singer made headlines last week after comparing the removal of confederate monuments to "what ISIS is doing." According the singer, the removal of statues represents the removal of American history. To defend the statues and their existence, furthermore, does not mean racism nor sympathy with the old confederacy, but rather a reverence for American history.
