Our men and women in uniform do so much to protect our country and defend our freedoms. Sadly, not everyone chooses to honor those who have given so much for our nation.

Police have just announced they have arrested two women who allegedly stole a service dog from a veteran. The incident occurred in Florida.

"The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Oct. 28 that a Pomeranian service dog had disappeared without a trace. Its owner: a 67-year-old Vietnam veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder," according to Fox News.

Video from the scene was instrumental in cracking this case. Surveillance footage showed one woman starting a fight with the veteran to distract him while the other woman came in to steal the dog. Luckily, a tip from a citizen put police on their trail.

"Jennifer Gotschall, 53, and Monique Cosser, 51, were identified Wednesday after a tip to police from a 'concerned citizen' led them to the pair. Kira was also recovered “in good health,” police say, according to Fox.

We are so happy to know that this veteran and his dog have been reunited! Please join us in thanking all of our military members, wherever they are, for sacrificing so much! What do you think about this? Let us know!
