Active Shooting: FBI Responding to Mass Shooting at K-12 School, Multiple Students Injured

A school in Colorado needs our urgent prayers. Shots have been fired at STEM School Highlands Ranch at South Ridgeline Boulevard and Plaza Drive in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The news was reported by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said they believe two have been injured. They are "still getting information."

The STEM School Highlands Ranch, a K-12 school, is on lockdown. STEM School Highlands Ranch was founded in 2011 and initially served graded sixth through ninth. It has since grown to more than 1,850 students serving grades K-12.

All other schools in the area have also been placed on high alert. Cherry Creek School District schools have been placed on secure perimeter as a precaution.

People are being asked to avoid the area.

According to reports on Twitter, there were three shooters. Two suspects are arrested while one more is still on the loose.

The FBI and ATF are responding. Latest reports say that "multiple students" have been shot. There are multiple ambulances and medical helicopters on scene.
