Country singer and radio personality Chuck Wicks just got engaged in the most picturesque setting. He's set to marry girlfriend Kari Rosa Williams.
Wicks proposed to Williams, who is the younger sister of Jason Aldean, on March 7. He got down on one knee in the snow while a camera recorded the moment.
Wicks and Williams have been dating since at least last June, which is when they started sharing pictures of each other on social media. Wicks confirmed the news in August, and Aldean lent his support to the relationship.
"The one thing I told my sister when I found out they were kind of talking," Aldean recalls, "I was like, 'I'll be honest, there's a lot of people in Nashville I would be completely against you dating, but I don't have anything bad to say about Chuck."
The pair shared Instagram videos that showed the romantic proposal. It took place at Fairmont Chateau, Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada.
The couple took a horse-drawn carriage ride to a glade of trees. There they get out and Wicks proposed.
"I’ve waited forever for you and now I will forever be yours," wrote Wicks in the caption.
Williams also shared the video. She wrote in the caption, "My person—my FOREVER. You make me so happy beyond my wildest dreams @chuckwicks. I love you! #pinchmeimdreaming."
Wicks scored Top 40 hits between 2007 and 2009, most notably "Stealing Cinderella" and is now a co-host on the Ty Bentil Show. He's never been married, but he was in a relationship with Julianne Hough a decade ago.
Congratulations to the couple!
