Some celebrities are just so iconic that they are known across the globe. One of those mega-stars is the world famous legend, Chuck Norris.

Norris originally became famous for his martial arts skills and went on to star in numerous Hollywood action movies. He is also well known for his role on “Walker Texas Ranger," among other television shows.

Now, Norris has announced he is giving up his film career. He says he is ending his acting in order to focus on his wife and to save her life. His family certainly needs prayers at this time!

“I’ve given up my film career to concentrate on Gena; my whole life right now is about keeping her alive. I believe this issue is so important,” Norris said.

The couple believes her body was harmed by injections she was given before an MRI to check for rheumatoid arthritis. The 54-year-old now reportedly suffers from burning nerve pain and kidney problems, and at one point during this ordeal, about four years ago, she feared she was going to die, according to Rare.

Norris and his wife have even filed lawsuits against medical device manufacturers and claim their chemicals weakens and poisoned his wife. So far, Chuck and his wife have spent $2 million on her treatment.

“Within hours after the first jab I felt like my whole body was on fire — as if acid had been passed through it,” said Gena Norris. “The burning was isolated at first, but it just kept spreading. It’s infuriating and heartbreaking — it’s a vicious, ugly secret that has been kept hidden — something Chuck and I are determined to change,” Gena continued.
