Former Disney Channel star Christy Carlson Romano just announced the gender of her second child. She and her husband of five years, film producer Brendan Rooney, are going to be adding a little girl to their brood.
Romano, 34, and Rooney had their first child, Isabella “Izzy” Victoria, 2. Baby number two is due in early February 2019.
The couple shared a photo from their gender reveal with PEOPLE. In the photo, there's pink smoke behind the family, who have surprised looks on their faces.
“Brendan and I planned our gender-reveal photo shoot and had the photographer buy the colored smoke (which was safely released)!” the voice of Kim Possible told PEOPLE. “We both had a feeling from the beginning that it was another girl. My pregnancy has been almost exactly like the first.”
She added, “It was so much fun to find out that Izzy is going to have a little sister. We are going to raise both our daughters to believe that they can do anything!”
The couple made the exciting announcement that they were expecting another child via social media on Friday, August 31st. The ex-Disney star shared a sweet family photo with their daughter Izzy.
“I always wanted two kids and I feel so blessed to have this experience again,” Romano stated. “My husband and I are overjoyed that our little girl is going to have a sibling.”
The actress, who rose to fame on her role as Ren in Disney’s “Even Stevens” and the voice of Kim in the Disney cartoon “Kim Possible,” is staying a busy mama throughout her latest pregnancy, reported PEOPLE. In addition to parenthood, Romano is working on Disney Channel’s live-action remake of "Kim Possible."
Congratulations to their beautiful growing family!
