Actor Chris Pratt is about to get married.
The "Parks and Recreation" actor announced he asked Katherine Schwarzenegger, Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, to be his wife. He made the announcement on Instagram early Monday.
The 39-year-old "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor wrote, "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"
The photo he shared showcased her gorgeous diamond ring. The ring appears to feature a massive oval or cushion cut diamond on a simple band.
Pratt and Schwarzenegger have been quietly dating for several months. They just recently made their first appearance on social media as a couple.
On Schwarzenegger's 29th birthday in December, Pratt wrote a sweet Instagram post as about his girlfriend. He said he "thrilled" to be with her.
"Your smile lights up the room. I've cherished our time together," he wrote of the author.
Pratt and his ex-wife, actress Anna Faris, announced their separation in 2017 after eight years of marriage. Pratt and Faris have one son together.
