A 24-year-old woman from Paris recently filed a police report claiming she was raped by three men in a suite at the 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The police investigation led to the arrest of Grammy Award-winning singer Chris Brown, one of his friends, and his bodyguard.

Brown is best-known for his multiple hip-hop and R&B hits including “With You,” “Say Goodbye,” and “Loyal.” He also received several acting roles in popular movies such as “This Christmas,” “Think Like a Man,” “Takers,” and “Stomp the Yard.”led

According to the Daily Beast, Brown — who has been clubbing in Paris over the past several days — was taken into custody early Monday morning. As of Tuesday, January 22nd, the music artist remains in jail as he awaits word of possible rape and drug charges.

Later reports suggested that the woman denied Brown’s involvement in the situation. However, these reports have not been confirmed by mainstream media sources.

This is not the first time Brown has had an encounter with the law. In 2009, Brown turned himself in for domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend/award-winning singer Rihanna. He received a light sentence of probation and counseling.

Last year, the “Run It” singer was sued over repeated sexual assault. He was also arrested last summer for an outstanding warrant for a felony battery charge.
