Despite their many faults, the mainstream media usually agrees not to violate the privacy of the president’s children, regardless of who the president may be. This was usually the case with the children of former President Barack Obama. And more often than not, this has been the case with Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump. Recently, however, an adult male author at a conservative website oddly attacked 11-year-old boy Barron Trump for his fashion sense.
Chelsea Clinton, who might seem like an unlikely ally, quickly came to Barron’s defense. In a Twitter post, the former First Daughter shared a link to the story, published on the Daily Caller, entitled “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.”
In this story the Daily Caller’s Ford Springer remarked that Trump’s youngest son, currently 11 years old, looks “like he was hopping on Air Force One for a trip to the movie theater.”
“I’ve been on the Barron Trump train from the start, but it’s about time the president’s son starts dressing the part,” remarked the article.
Chelsea Clinton’s Twitter response was as follows: “It’s high time the media and everyone leave Barron Trump alone and let him have the private childhood he deserves.”
AOL News reports that Chelsea Clinton is only one among many national figures denouncing the Daily Caller for attacking 11-year-old Barron. Moreover, this is not the first time that Chelsea Clinton has come to Barron's defense. In fact, back in January, Clinton wrote a similar remark on Twitter, claiming that people should let the boy have a private childhood.
