Charlotte Pence, Vice President Mike Pence’s daughter, is gradually becoming an important conservative and Christian figure to the public. The Second Daughter is only 25 years old, but she has already achieved great success through her writing skills, social media presence, and support of her father’s politics.
Charlotte has released several books including the Marlon Bundo-themed children's books (“Marlon Bundo’s A Day in the Life of the Vice President,” “Marlon Bundo’s Day in the Nation’s Capital,” “Marlon Bundo’s Best Christmas Ever”) and “Where You Go: Life Lessons from My Father.”
Like her dad, Charlotte often advocates for conservative-Christian values. In her most recent bold move, she expressed her support to end modern-day slavery via social media. According to CNN, this is also a current issue that's close to her father's heart.
On Tuesday, February 7th, the Second Daughter shared a picture of herself with a red “X” on her hand — a symbol of the END IT Movement, which strives to bring awareness to modern-day slavery.
“Let’s shine a light on modern day slavery and officially end it,” the Vice President’s daughter captioned the photo.
Mr. Pence responded to his daughter’s bold move on Twitter. He told the public that he was very “proud” of his little girl for speaking up about an important modern-day issue.
“Proud of our daughter Charlie Pence and grateful for everyone in the #enditmovement for shining the light on modern day slavery and human trafficking. Let’s #EndIt,” Pence said of his daughter Charlotte.
If you would like to help bring awareness to modern-day slavery, you can join the movement by sharing a picture with a red “X” on your hand accompanied by the hashtag “#enditmovement.”
In breaking news, Elvis Presley’s friends and family are in mourning.
