With regards to movie star Halloween costumes, not each thought is a winner — and a few outfits end in main backlash from followers.
Julianne Hough obtained combined evaluations when she dressed up as Uzo Aduba’s Orange Is the New Black character, Loopy Eyes, in 2013. Hough donned an orange jail jumpsuit and Loopy Eyes’ iconic knotted coiffure and painted her face brown, which led to some individuals accusing the dancer of carrying blackface.
“I’m an enormous fan of the present Orange Is the New Black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created,” Hough wrote through social media in October 2013, apologizing for her costume alternative. “It definitely was by no means my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anybody in any method. I understand my costume damage and offended individuals and I really apologize.”
Aduba, for her half, addressed the controversial costume in November 2013, telling E!
