One of the biggest names in Hollywood recently passed away. Stan Lee, the man behind numerous Marvel comic creations, died at the age of 95 in Los Angeles.
The world mourned Stan's passing by filling social media with heartfelt tributes and posts to remember the creative genius. It was truly amazing to see so many fans pay respect to Stan.
"Stan launched Marvel in 1961 with the Fantastic Four and the comic book giant went on to spawn Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men, Black Panther, and The Avengers," reported TMZ.
Now, new reports are shedding some more light on Stan's final hours. Lee had reportedly been rushed to a hospital by ambulance earlier in the month. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Lee's cause of death has also just been confirmed. According to his death certificate, Lee passed away due to heart failure and respiratory issues.
"We obtained Stan's death certificate, and it lists heart failure and respiratory failure as the cause of death. It also says he suffered aspiration pneumonia -- which is when you inhale food, stomach acid or saliva into your lungs. According to the document, 95-year-old Lee died Monday, November 12 at 9:17 AM at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles," reported TMZ.
