In November, Carrie Underwood took a nasty fall. At the time, she shared that she broke her wrist, and she underwent surgery.
Now, she's sharing an update on her wrist. She posted a photo on Instagram that showed an X-ray of her wrist. In the image, you can see that there is a plate and several screws holding the broken bone together.
The 34-year-old country crooner wrote: "Last check up on the old wrist this morning!! Thanks, Dr. Wurthand my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. “Bulldog” for fixing me up!! I’m good to go."
In December, she revealed that the fall had been even more traumatic than anyone thought. She said she had to have 40 to 50 stitches in her face after the accident.
She told fans that, while she is on the mend, she may "not quite looking the same."
She wrote to members of her fan club: "I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way. And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different."
She added, "It's crazy how a freak random accident can change your life."
'I'll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.'
She posted a photo on Instagram after Christmas, which showed her face covered by a hat and scarf. She hasn't posted a health update for those injuries or revealed her face.
She wrote, "When in 5 degree weather, wrap your @caliabycarrie scarf around your neck and face...you keep warm AND look like an awesome winter snow ninja! #WinWin #StayThePath #LetItSnow #BabyItsColdOutside."
