Country music sensation Carrie Underwood has been the center of national headlines in recent days following a brutal fall last year. The fall, which left fans very concerned about the former “American Idol” star, resulted in Underwood’s receiving roughly 50 stitches to the face.
Only recently did Underwood open up about the incident — revealing that it “changed her” and “set her back.” Thankfully, she healed well and appears to be getting back to what she loves most — music.
Earlier this year, she released her new, emotional song “Cry Pretty,” which reached top spots on music charts. Additionally, she has made several public appearances since staying under wraps for quite some time.
Now, there’s more good news for the country star. She and her husband, professional hockey player Mike Fisher, are celebrating their 8-year wedding anniversary!
To celebrate the occasion, Underwood shared an adorable post for her beloved spouse where she declared how much she loved him.
“Here’s to 8 years, babe! Where does the time go?! I love you today more than yesterday...which was more than the day before...and so on and so forth,” Underwood wrote. “Here’s to many more years together! [Love] you!
