Recently, Candace Cameron Bure revealed that she was taken to the Emergency Room at a local hospital after a bad accident left her with a gruesome injury. The accident occurred when Candace was go-karting with her brother, Kirk Cameron, and two sisters, Melissa and Bridgette Cameron.
"Went go-karting with my brother and two sisters. I've been released now, but was in the ER," Candace explained to her followers. "Clearly I am fine... but got some damage to my hand, but it's not broken, and my shoulder, but it's not broken."
Candace revealed that Kirk actually "ran" her over. Apparently, her hand swelled up pretty bad and made it very painful to remove her rings. She posted an image of the red hand and the swelling is clearly visible.
"The actress then shared a series of pics and videos from her time in the hospital, where she says her brother "ran me over," and reveals that the most painful part of her experience was having to get her rings pulled off her swollen hand by the doctors. Next, she shared two photos of her hand injury," reported ET Online.
Since the accident, Candace has been healing. She recently took to social media to update fans about the condition of her hand.
“I just went to the hand specialist today, and my hand is totally fine," Candace said on her Instagram Story on Monday. "Still no broken bones, and it just needs time to heal, and it’s getting better. Much better."
Candace looks like she is definitely doing much better. Her hand doesn't even look red or swollen anymore. There is a small cut on her finger that appears to be healing. We wish her all the best as she continues to heal! Apparently, Candace is now pretty far behind on her Christmas shopping, which is understandable given her recent health issue!
"I don't want to, I don't know what's happened to me but I just went into a Christmas lull," Candace said while laughing later on in her Instagram story. "Honestly, I just want to sit at home and watch Fuller House. Is that so obnoxious?"
