On Sunday night, the Hallmark Channel released their newest holiday movie. Candace Cameron Bure starred in "Switched for Christmas."
The movie features not just one Candace Cameron Bures, but two! "Switched for Christmas" is about identical twins (who Bure stars as) who have lost touch. During the movie, they meet up for a pre-Christmas lunch.
They come to find out just how different they are when they decide to switch lives until Christmas day. The highly anticipated holiday special was released over the weekend, where it topped the network's ratings.
The movie had the best ratings of any other holiday specials featured on Hallmark this season. Additionally, it topped the charts among other networks as well. On Sunday night, the movie had 5.17 million viewers.
The movie reportedly had a 0.9 rating among adults 18-49. It ended up being the number 2 cable show of the day as far as viewers go, and it took the number 3 spot for the 18-49 demographic. The only show that beat "Switched for Christmas" in viewers was "The Walking Dead" with 8.28 million.
Natasha Bure, Candace Cameron Bure's daughter, also acted in the movie.
Candace said, "I made it a point to be a co-star and not a mom when we were filming. It was really important to me to make sure I let the director do their job and not give Natasha any acting notes. I did make sure she understood the technical aspects of what was going on during filming because I think that kind of stuff is really important for any newer actor to learn. It makes their jobs easier in the future."
Congrats to the Bures on their successful new movie! Have you seen the movie yet? If so, what did you think about it? Let us know your opinion on Facebook. In other news, Franklin Graham just gave a moving response to President Trump's Christmas speech.
