Tragic news broke on Saturday that Disney star Cameron Boyce had passed away. Boyce died in his sleep on Saturday, July 6.

Now TMZ has learned the sad details of his death. The actor suffered from epilepsy throughout his short life of only 20 years.

His breakout role was playing Luke on "Jessie." The show ran for 4 seasons.

Cameron's family said, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."
