President Donald Trump made an announcement Wednesday morning via Twitter, leading to outrage among liberals. Trump stated that transgender individuals will no longer be allowed to serve in the military due to certain risks and medical costs that accompany gender transitions.

Trump tweeted in a 3-part post, “After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military.”

He concluded, “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you.”

Caitlyn Jenner, transgender conservative formerly known as Bruce Jenner, reacted to Trump’s controversial announcement a few hours later. On Twitter she stated, “There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them?”

Fox News shared Jenner’s statement. Fox said, “@Caitlyn_Jenner had a message for President @realDonaldTrump after he announced his barring of transgender Americans from military service.”

Senator John McCain also responded to Trump’s announcement on transgenders in the military. Do you agree with Trump, Jenner, or McCain? Share your thoughts in our Facebook comments! Thank you!
