The sad news was just confirmed that beloved actor Bryan Marshall has passed away. The actor, best known for his role in James Bond, died at the age of 81.
Marshall had an extremely successful career in the world of film. He was best known for playing Commander Talbot in the 007 film, “The Spy Who Loved Me.”
Beyond that, he was a longstanding actor on the mega-popular Australian daytime soap “Neighbours.”
Marshall’s agent, Esta Charkham, confirmed the news about the actor’s death.
Charkham said, “So sad that my dear old chum Bryan Marshall has gone on ahead. A wonderful actor- he was so good you never noticed how good he was. He was a valued chum. His credits are a catalogue of classic British and Australian TV. Fare Forward Dearest Bryan!”
According to Metro, Marshall began his acting career in the 1960s in London. His breakout role was in “Alfie” with Michael Caine. Later, he began acting in crime shows before landing his role in 007.
In 1989, Marshall became the host of “Australia’s Most Wanted.”
