Prayers are needed for the family of Jackson Odell, who passed away tragically at the age of 20 while in a sober living home.
According to Pop Culture, police said there are no signs of foul play. But nonetheless, this news is heartbreaking for friends and family who knew Odell, as well as his fans.
Odell, though young, made a name for himself after having spent the bulk of his life performing. He was known as both a singer and a songwriter, having made his mark in Hollywood in both areas of talent.
At the age of 12, he appeared on TV, and then worked his way up to a major role in the teen movie “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.” At 13, he appeared in “iCarly,” playing they character of Gumbo.
He’s also made appearances in “Arrested Development” and “The Fosters.” In addition, perhaps his most famous role has been on “The Goldbergs,” playing Ari Caldwell, Dana’s older brother and one of the more popular students at school.
Odell has not only been an actor, but a musician as well. He wrote the soundtrack for “Forever My Girl” and one of his songs, “Hopeless Game” appeared on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie “Redemption.”
