Ben Carson is dropping out.
Of tomorrow night's debate in Detroit, that is. According to The Washington Post, the retired neurosurgeon and formerly major contender in the race for Republican presidential nomination said he sees no "path forward" for his campaign.
He did not, however, say he is suspending his campaign. Rather, he said he will make a speech about his campaign on Friday.
In a statement he said, “I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of ‘We the People’ will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations.”
