In recent weeks, numerous stories about prominent figures, engaging in various forms of sexual harassment or assault, have dominated the news headlines. Now, 4 more women are coming forward to let their voices be heard about sexual assault.
Bill Clinton is now facing new accusations that he sexually assaulted at least 4 different females. The new charges occurred not when he was President, but shortly after in 2001. The attorneys who are representing the women have notified the Clinton’s and are now in preparation to bring four different lawsuits against the former President.
A member of Clinton's legal team has confirmed the existence of the new allegations, according to the Daily Mail. The new allegations refer to incidents that took place in the early 2000s when Clinton was hired by Ron Burkle, the billionaire investor. According to the allegations, the women were all employed by Burkle when the President assaulted them.
“Bill is distraught at the thought of having to testify and defend himself against sex charges again,” said a Democratic Party official who is familiar with the case. “He hopes his legal team can somehow stop the women from filing charges and drag him through the mud.”
