Fans were devastated earlier this week after learning about the sudden death of Irish musician Dolores O’Riordan—the lead singer of the popular rock band “Cranberries.” O’Riordan was 46 years old at the time of her death.

While in London for a recording session, O’Riordan was found dead on Monday, January 15th. Her cause of death is still currently unknown, but it was previously reported that authorities are not treating her death as suspicious.

On Thursday, January 18th O’Riordan’s boyfriend, Olé Koretsky, broke silence on his girlfriend’s death. Koretsky is also a musician—he and O’Riordan were actually working in a new band together called “D.A.R.K.”

On the music group’s website, Koretsky posted a heartfelt message about the “love of his life.”

He stated, “My friend, partner, and the love of my life is gone. My heart is broken and it is beyond repair. Dolores is beautiful. Her art is beautiful. Her family is beautiful,” he said of O’Riordan. “The energy she continues to radiate is undeniable.”

“I am lost,” he continued. “I miss her so much. I will continue to stumble around this planet for some time knowing well there’s no real place for me here now.”

An investigation regarding the singer’s death is currently underway. If additional details are released, this article will be updated accordingly.

Please continue to pray for Dolores O’Riordan’s friends, family, and loved ones. In breaking news, a legendary British actor also passed away recently.
