Boston Police Has America Captivated by Car-Pool-Karaoke, 4th of July Video Goes Viral

Boston police officers shared a moment in their police cruiser that Americans are viewing like crazy. Their rendition of “God Bless America” is going viral.

The video, which the Boston Police Department shared on their Facebook page, has received already 2,000 shares and 96,000 views.

Officers Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty decided to kick off the holiday weekend by singing one of McNulty’s favorite songs, “God Bless America” by Irving Berlin.

“We should do a duet sometime,” McNulty told Tavares, according to Fox News

“Everybody always says that, ‘When are you and Stevie going to sing together?’” Tavares answers back. “Let’s try it.”

The Boston Police said in a statement, “Happy to see two of our officers, Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty, getting in the mood for all the upcoming 4th of July festivities planned for the Boston area and surrounding communities. Please feel free to sing along with them as they make their way through our city.”
