After news broke about Dave Chappelle’s attempt to close down an affordable housing project located in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Boosie Badazz defended him.
“He probably wants to create a player’s paradise. He don’t want all them n*ggas in there. You know what the result is, man? As Black people, none of us are businessmen, man. Some people are just criminals. That’s white, Black, everything. He could be creating a player’s paradise. For $65 million, I say who the f*ck come in this bitch, and who leaving,” said Boosie.
Chappelle’s spokesperson stated that he objected because of the structure of the project.
Carla Sims, ABC News spokesperson, said that Dave Chappelle did not kill affordable housing. “Concerned residents and a responding Village Council’ killed” a half-baked plan that never offered affordable housing.
The comedian threatened to cancel his plans to open a comedy club if it was approved.
“I am not bluffing. Chappelle stated that he would take it all off the tables.
