Beloved Actor, Emmy-Winning Comedian Dies at 76, Fans Pouring in Tributes

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" fans are in deep mourning on Wednesday after the sad news was reported that Bob Einstein has passed away. Einstein was best known for his starring role on that show, as well as for his Super Dave Osborne character.

Einstein was 76-years-old at the time his death. According to Fox News, the actor had been diagnosed with cancer just before his death.

Not only was Einstein well known for acting, but he also made a name for himself through writing! In 1969, he won an Emmy  for  Outstanding Writing Achievement in Comedy, Variety, or Music for "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour."

Einstein was the creator of the popular character Super Dave Osborne. The character appeared in series between 1979 and 2009.

As soon as the news was confirmed about Einstein's death, fans and former co-workers took to social media to share their condolences.
