When a black teenager in Pennsylvania was charged last week with shooting at police officers in their cars, his mom decided she wasn't going to try to justify her child's actions.

According to the Associated Press, police say 17-year-old Marquell Rentas and his 18-year-old cousin Trenton Nace shot at them, hitting their vehicles while they were responding to a shooting call in Columbia.

Upon arrest, Marquell told the cops "I was shooting at you" as he cursed at them.

Marquell's mom lit into him and his cousin over the weekend, saying, "They are in jail for doing what Black Lives Matters wanted them to do: shoot at cops. The truth is that these are two punk kids following the orders of an irresponsible organization, and now they're gonna pay for it."

Trenton's dad made a similar statement about the teens. No officers were injured.
