4) Tottenham Literature Pageant (Nov 14-20)
Championing black writers and black narratives, this literature competition is now in its fourth 12 months, and the theme this 12 months is ‘therapeutic tales’. Attendees can anticipate to see award-winning playwright and writer Travis Alabanza, writer and broadcaster Lemn Sissay OBE (pictured), journalist and poet Bridget Minamore, in addition to many others.
Many of the programme is free, and the remainder is ‘pay what you’ll be able to’, because the organisers deal with accessibility.
