Fans Mourning the Loss of Beloved Actor Who Starred in Popular Shows from '60s-'80s

On Saturday, September 8, the sad news was confirmed that famous, longtime actor Bill Daily had passed away. The “I Dream of Jeannie” star died at the age of 91.

According to ET Online, Daily’s son was the one to confirm the death. J. Patrick Daily revealed that his father had passed away on Tuesday in Santa Fe, New Mexico from natural causes.

He said, “He loved every sunset, he loved every meal. He just decided to be happy about everything.”

Bill Daily rose to fame when he starred on all five seasons of  “I Dream of Jeannie.” He also spent several seasons on “The Bob Newhart Show,” “Bewitched,” “The Love Boat,” “Aloha Paradise,” “Mary Tyler Moore,” “Starting from Scratch,” “CHiPs,” and more.

Later, Daily acted as Dr. Larry Dykstra on “ALF” before working on his own sitcom, “Small & Frye.”
