Biden Owes Border Patrol Apology Over Phony Migrant Whipping Charges

Only in America, it seems Border Patrol agents can be cleared of violating any laws and still be punished. However, illegal immigrants are most often exempt from punishment.

President Je Biden and Jen Psaki (then-press secretary) and Alejandro Mayorkas (secretary of Homeland Security) all rushed for their lives when they saw a clip of Border Patrol agents in Texas last september assisting Haitians trying to enter the country without authorization.

Biden had threatened the agents, saying they would “pay” for their actions. They have paid for lost time on the job, their character smearing, and possibly an end to their careers. It is the administrators who should pay. It is hoped that the agents will find a lawyer to sue them for slander.

In a 511-page report (only the government requires so many words to explain the obvious), Customs and Border Protection said the agents did not whip the migrants, who managed to get across the border anyway, but added they are still guilty of “unprofessional conduct,” including using “unnecessary force on Haitians.”

Some agents used poor language to try and turn people back. It’s shocking, I know. Were they supposed to say: “Would you pretty please turn around and go back to your country?”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined other Republicans to call for Biden to apologize to the four falsely accused agents. Good luck with that. Being a high government official means never having to say you’re sorry. Paxton said instead of being punished, the agents “should be rewarded.”

Texas Governor. Greg Abbott, Texas Governor. The administration is opposing the move and is suing Texas in an attempt to stop it. Yes, I understand that immigration is the constitutional responsibility of the federal government, but what’s a governor to do when his state is being overrun by migrants, some of whom they say are destroying private property and committing other crimes, including rape and murder?

Two men illegally in the country were arrested in Richmond, Virginia. They were involved in a plot to commit terrorism on July 4. Someone heard and said something, which prevented what could have been tragedy if they had continued with their plot. One of the men had reportedly been deported twice previously.

If Republicans win the November elections, their top priority will be to secure the border as well as restore legal processes for those who seek entry into the country. Biden will likely veto any legislation that is passed by Republicans to accomplish this goal. But, if enough Republicans are in Congress, his veto can still be overridden.

It isn’t just those breaking our laws to get here that is a continuing problem, but also the large amounts of the deadly drug fentanyl coming in. Fentanyl is now No. Fentanyl is now ranked No. 1 in the United States’ list of most deadly drugs for 18-to-45 year-olds. It’s about the number of people who died trying to find a better life through the human traffickers and cartels.

All the administration has said is “don’t come,” which is like telling a child not to raid the cookie jar. Mayorkas has repeatedly claimed that the border is open. Mayorkas should be impeached for lying about the law and not enforcing it.
