Star of the hit show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Beth Chapman has recently opened up about her current battle with cancer. Chapman first began her fight with cancer when she was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer back in September 2017.
Her husband Duane "Dog" Chapman was able to share with fans that the cancer had been fully removed just two months after her diagnosis. Sadly, the cancer returned in 2018. Since she has been battling throat cancer again, she has been hospitalized and has undergone emergency surgery to clear her airways.
This past Mother's Day, Beth spoke at the Source Church in Bradenton, Florida. She shared with the congregation about her recent health battles and how she has been getting through this difficult time.
“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?’ ” she said. “He’ll roll his eyes at me again because I know why — because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”
“Chemotherapy is not my bag, people. Sorry, that’s not for me,” she said. “So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith. This is my ultimate lesson. And it will either be taught to me or to you. And I am fine with taking the hit for everyone else. Because I think I know another guy who did the same thing.”
Please join us in praying for Beth and her family as she goes through her battle with cancer.
