Best Dressed Stars on the Red Carpet

That’s a wrap! The 2022 Met Gala has already come to a close — but that’s not to say we’ll stop talking about the epic fashion and glam anytime soon.

Are you to blame? Us? After all, the stars brought their A-game this year to dress to the theme of “Gilded Glamour,” held on Monday, May 2 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Stars wore everything from extravagant headpieces and crowns to long gloves and luxurious jewels in keeping with the theme.

Many stars walked on the red carpet wearing designer clothes like Chanel, Alexander McQueen, and Louis Vuitton. Some outfits stood out from the rest and were awarded a spot on the red carpet. Harrier was a visionary in magnificence in a silver H&M x Victor Glemaud corset-style ball gown teamed with black velvet gloves and a triple-strand pearl necklace.

4) Gerber was stunning in a silver-encrusted Alexander McQueen gown with side cutouts. Kwiat jewels were used to accessorize the elegant gown. Her long, flowing hair looked stunning.

3) Apatow was the Met Gala’s first ever female host. She wore a sheer black Miu Miu dress with jewels and a Cartier choker with multi-strand diamond Cartier.

2) Monae walked on the red carpet in a double-take-worthy, hooded gown entirely covered in crystals. She complemented the Ralph Lauran custom design with Delfina Delettrez jewelry.

1) Lively stole the show wearing an Atelier Versace gown that literally transformed on the red-carpet. As she climbed up the Met steps, her team removed the back bow of her gown to reveal a blue train inspired from the oxidized hue of Statue of Liberty. She accessorized the color-changing ensemble with Custom Lorraine Schwartz jewels (including a Tiara) and Christian Louboutin shoes
