Miley CyrusFor one, she is a pet lover who cannot resist adopting an animal she feels is right for her. After Mary Jane, her pitbull mix, died of cancer, she joined her family in February 2021.
“Almost two months ago my best friend a rescued pit mix Mary Jane left this world,” the Disney Channel alum wrote via Instagram at the time. “I knew she wasn’t gone for good. She had out lived the body she was in but she never said goodbye ….. with her eyes she whispered ‘See you soon Bestie.’ Mary Jane defined loyalty and would never break a promise.”
Cyrus said that Mary Jane brought Angel, her pup, into her world. “I feel her here with me blessing this new member to my family who’s [sic] name is ‘Angel’ because she was delivered to me by one… My Mary,” she continued. “It breaks my heart to know Angel was sleeping on concrete in a shelter for 3 months before finally making it home. I am shattered by the stereotypes and stigma that surround pit bulls. This breed is incredibly loving. Just like humans nurture often overrides nature.”
The singer concluded: “I am head over heels in love. Not sure I will ever sleep again because I can’t take my eyes off of her! Her halo shines for all to see and I can’t wait to show her off! It’s pretty cool having an Angel on a leash! The aura of Mary Jane, the late and great Mary Jane, illuminates her. Long live love. It never dies.”
Dwayne JohnHobbs, on the other hand, enjoys dressing up as an actor for Halloween and for his big-screen projects. In March 2016, the actor joked via Instagram that his dog Hobbs was mad at him for not casting him as his 2017 remake of “The Shining”. BaywatchThe French bulldog finally got his due when he appeared in 2019. Hobbs & Shaw. The role was only fitting given that Hobbs is named after Johnson’s character from the Fast and Furious franchise.
