Musical muses Kylie Jenner, Megan Fox and more celebrities have made unforgettable appearances in other stars’ music videos.
In May 2020, the TransformersActress turned heads with her sexy performance as the love of her rumored boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly‘s “Bloody Valentine” video. In the playful visual, the two almost locked lips, confirming that sparks were flying.
“Megan thinks MGK is a really cool guy,” an insider told Us WeeklyOnly at the moment. “They have definitely hooked up and are seeing where things go.”
The two met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass and fueled relationship rumors following Fox’s split from her husband of nearly 10 years, Brian Austin Green. One month after the music video’s debut, a source confirmed that the New Girl alum and the rapper “are officially dating and referring to one another as boyfriend and girlfriend.”
Some music videos have a romantic appeal, while others can be controversial. Jenner looked great in the video. Cardi BAnd Megan Thee Stallion‘s NSFW single, “WAP,” but some fans weren’t too pleased with her featured moment.
“Normani did ALL this and Kylie walked down the hall and opened a door,” one fan tweeted in August 2020 after watching the rappers’ video. “If that’s not a perfect visual indication of Black women having to do the most and white women do the bare minimum to get somewhere, I don’t know what is.”
Despite all the negative press surrounding it Keeping up with the Kardashians star’s cameo, the Grammy winner stood her ground.
“Normani is one of the best female artist that dances Like she dances her f—kin ass off! Why would she even open a door for someone else? Please tell me how that would make sense?” Cardi replied on Twitter. “The best part of the song is the beat & hook it what makes you want to shake your ass. … Not everything is about race.”
In another post, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper explained the reasoning behind Jenner’s surprising music video moment.
“Why did I put Kylie on my music video? She treated my sister with respect [Hennessy]The mother and the daughter [Kulture]She is so sweet with her kids [Stormi’s] bday party,” she tweeted, adding that other members of Jenner’s family have often given her “advice on certain things I ask for.”
